Fantastic opportunity to join a well established and growing business in Croydon

Our client is a market leader in their sector and they are looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk, who has experience with credit control to join their team on a full time basis.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The role will be to manage the Sales Ledger and ensure timely collection of outstanding monies, escalation of the collection procedure and timely reporting to senior management.

  • Ability to investigate and resolve accounts queries
  • To oversee the credit control function and take ownership of the role
  • Customer care over the phone
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Provide an ongoing credit control report monthly to the Head of Finance/Directors when requested
  • Adhoc duties as requested by the Head of Finance

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Studying towards AAT would be desirable

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Working experience within a similar environment
  • Experience of client management within an SME accounts environment
  • Customer focused with strong communication skills
