Fantastic opportunity to join a well established and growing business in Croydon.

Our client is a market leader in their sector and they are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk/Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full time basis.

Role and Responsibilities

The role will be to generate the company settlement figures for our clients.

  • Timely processing of the company's settlement figures as per the internal process
  • Resolution of settlement figure queries
  • Creating relevant settlement documents and issuing along with the correct documents
  • Timely updating of company database with settlement calculations
  • Double checking system generated maturity figures based on RPI and Actuarial valuation
  • Communicating with Directors, clients and management
  • Assisting with Finance administration including card payments, phone calls, scanning and filing
  • Assisting with the Administration department including, filing, posting and general office duties

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Studying towards AAT or a graduate (or equivalent) with an interest in Finance would be desirable

Preferred Skills

  • Working experience within a similar environment
  • Experience of client management within an SME accounts environment
  • Customer focused and responsive
  • Administration experience
