Interim Finance Professionals

Typically clients look to hire an interim finance professional at times when their organisation is faced with a problem or opportunity that requires immediate attention. Due to the often reactive nature of these requirements, clients want someone who has seen it and done it before, someone who would be operating firmly within their comfort zone and who would be immediately credible and competent. An interim that can be effective from day one will ensure their situation is resolved quickly and at minimum cost and risk.

Typical assignments on which we have worked include special projects or crisis management (for example sudden leavers in senior roles), rapid expansion, start up or down sizing, the supply of specialist skills not found internally, project management and maternity leave. To be effective in these roles we need candidates with several years accounting/man management experience – ideally within different sectors – and expertise in problem solving, the ability to deliver to tight deadlines, the skills to quickly analyse a situation and a track record in offering innovative solutions.
